Excellent report.

 

My double hall just had our circuit representative discuss with us for about 2.5 hours of disaster training with branch videos. Seems to coincide with what we all were shown.

I am not sure of the training you received recently, but the training that is being held in many locations for several congregations at a time is specifically NOT Disaster Relief training but it is Disaster Response training.  Not everyone is trained to go do disaster relief work (nor are they invited to go and share in that work) but everybody can have disaster preparedness education and training and be ready to respond to local needs under the direction of the Elders and LDC.  Many of our participants kept referring to Disaster Relief and the brothers kindly pointed out that this is two different things.
