Came across this video today ...

Recommended Posts

I was looking at some YouTube videos of various musicians when I came across this video from 1986

It starts out with Fats Domino playing the piano - before it is done he is joined by Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis on pianos and they also have Ron Wood and Paul Shaffer in the mix as well as a number of other really talented musicians.

Try getting that much talent on one stage today without having to pay untold amounts of money - in this video these guys were having a blast and I doubt they were being paid what they were worth.

Yes, that is a very famous picture - after the death of Johhny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis did a concert and released an album as "the last man standing" since he is the only one of those still living. Seems they had some sort of informal agreement that the last one alive do such a concert in memory of the others.
