Options for running JW library on mac

I'm no expert, I can't manage terminals or know the Linux file structure well. But I know for sure that I've gotten WT Library running on a couple of Mint systems, but was unable to get it working on a couple of others. The installer wouldn't finish opening or it would hang for hours. I can't remember all the methods that I've tried. One thing that I recall you need is the microsoft fonts installed, WTLib uses several of those, but that shouldn't affect the installation. There are a couple of GUI frontends for Wine like PlayOnLinux and Winetricks that may help, but I think it would be good to try without them first, instead using the latest versions of Wine. iPad app running on the M1!!!!! haven't had any issue downloading books or videos.

It looks like it's been sideloaded? Running ARM software on ARM hardware, so it's to be expected that it should work, just a matter of allowing it.

I also have a macbook air M1, and I'm not able to get JW Library to work.
