The one who endures to the end will be saved.—Matt. 24:13, ftn.

 

Our endurance does not depend on favorable circumstances. We can strengthen our endurance by relying on Jehovah. (Rom. 12:12) Jesus’ promise in today’s text means that we must remain faithful despite any challenges we face. By enduring each trial now, we can become stronger before the outbreak of the great tribulation. As with endurance, true courage comes from relying on Jehovah. How can we strengthen our reliance on him? By reading his Word every day and meditating on how Jehovah saved his people in the past. (Ps. 68:20; 2 Pet. 2:9) When the nations attack us during the great tribulation, we will need to be courageous and to trust in Jehovah as never before. (Ps. 112:7, 8; Heb. 13:6) If we rely on Jehovah now, we will have the courage we need to face Gog’s attack. We are convinced that we can remain ever safe under Jehovah’s loving protection.—1 Cor. 13:8. w19.10 18 ¶15-16

Jehovah has been preparing us over the last few years our Regional convention themes Endurance 17 and Courage 18 - which made the point that our Courage at the time of the end will not depend on us , our abilities , our personal courage but purely on our total reliance on Jehovah . if we develop this in day to day life now over all things our courage and reliance on Jehovah will be so part of our life we won't even have to think about it .

What will enduring to the end mean during the attack of BtG? Everything that we have done to prepare ourselves, to have faith, to have wisdom and knowledge, to be patient, to build up endurance, to be shrewd, to trust in Jehovah with all our heart and so much more , yes, all these things we have prepared ahead of time for this one big event -the final attack on God's people-.  Just suppose and imagine if all of human creation from  Abel to all the angels in heaven are watching what our outcome will be because the final attack on God's people will be the last and ultimate test and everything  hangs in the balance of what we do. Whatever we do will set a president for all humanity to come afterwards.

If we faithfully endure present suffering, we can benefit now and in the future. Reading + Studying God’s Word & Meditation will refine our Faith & intensify our Endurance. When trials run it’s course we can without fail use scriptural means.

Endurance is very important now than ever before as we near the end of this system of things. We can strengthen our endurance by relying on Jehovah through praying, daily  bible reading and meditating on future blessings.
