We mustered up boldness by means of our God to tell you the good news of God in the face of much opposition.—1 Thess. 2:2.

To face persecution, you need courage. If you feel that you lack that quality, what can you do? Remember that true courage does not depend on your size, strength, or ability. Consider the example of young David when he faced Goliath. Compared with that giant, David was smaller, weaker, and poorly armed. David did not even have a sword. Yet, he was full of courage. David boldly ran to fight that arrogant giant. Why was David so courageous? He firmly believed that Jehovah was with him. (1 Sam. 17:37, 45-47) David did not concentrate on how big Goliath was compared with him. Instead, he focused on how tiny Goliath was compared to Jehovah. What do we learn from this account? We will feel courageous if we are confident that Jehovah is with us and if we are certain that our opposers are tiny in comparison to Almighty God.—2 Chron. 20:15; Ps. 16:8. w19.07 5 ¶11-13

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

What a wonderful thought don't focus on how big our opposers are to us but on how small they are to Jehovah , I imagine that is how the Russian brothers are feeling right now , going through so much with the authorities against them but those authorities are nothing when compared to who is on their side .

A true example of Faith in action.

# David was CONCERNED about the reproach Goliath put at the battle line of the Living God and was never terrified by Goliath even though all the men of Israel got terrified & fled the scene but David boldly magnified Jehovah’s name - Keep strong your love of God and neighbor by preaching, as this will build our courage.
# David RELIED on Jehovah & was never intimidated by Goliath’s appearance or his military skills - Pray to Jehovah for courage, Always remember, you are never on your own for Jehovah is with you.
# Like David we can boldly say ‘For the battle belongs to Jehovah’.

Bible courage has been described as doing what is right no matter what the cost is to ourselves. David wasn't worried about what would happen to him. His focus was defending Jehovah's name. When we stand up for what Jehovah says is right and true, then nothing will take us down because You + Jehovah = a majority.

The one showing favor to the lowly is lending to Jehovah

How can we fail - when we become the majority.
