Mask, or no mask?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday it was in the news a fully vaccinated person died from Covid. It been a point of contention. Those relatives, and otherwise, that have not had their shot, and come to our home, unmasked. No more.  My husband told me today, no more. It doesn’t matter who it is, if they are unvaccinated, they must wear a mask in our home. Fine with me.

If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.

When we go out the door, we have our masks. And, we are vaccinated.
Plus, the smoke is sort of back, and the tribe is providing us with N95 masks.
I’ve almost decided that only during the GT will masks not be a problem. Until then, well, let’s just say, I have my pick of the style, color, and N95, or not.

Isnt it you who should wear masks near unvaccinated people to avoid transmitting the disease to them?

My daughter works in the ED (ER).  They have been seeing so many sick with covid.  Although her and her husband are both fully vaccinated, they always wear a mask (N95) when they leave home.  There will not have anyone in their home at this time since she works directly with covid patients.

It doesn't matter if ones are vaccinated or not, both can and are transmitting and catching this virus.  The vaccinated are faring much better when getting covid, but there are still some who end up in ICU or die from it.  One of our fully vaccinated elders has been fighting covid for the last 2, 3 weeks.  Fortunately, he has been able to stay out of the hospital.  But we had a 26 year old fully vaccinated who died within a few days of testing positive.  There are no guarantees friends!  (Besides Jehovah).

Most of if not all of the brothers and sisters in my congregation are wearing masks anytime they are around other people whether they are vaccinated or not.  Every life is sacred to Jehovah. And every life should be sacred to us. So let's keep on doing everything we can to protect ourselves and to protect every person around us.  Love all of you❣️

Actually I think it’s both…. Anyone can pass it, anyone can get it.

Correct, bur the chance of someone vaccinated getting seriously ill is much smaller. So, we need to protect mainly those who are not vaccinated.
