Cleaning post-Covid

Recommended Posts

Tested positive for Covid a week ago and currently quarantining from my wife.

Have a moderate case: no taste/smell, slight breathing issues & was put on a puffer, cough and extremely tired.

My wife, who is feeling fine and tested negative, is scared when I’m ready to come out of quarantine and feels the entire house is “radioactive” with the virus and would throw everything in the garbage if she could. I’m trying to be a bit more realistic.

My question for those here that have had it in the past: how in depth with cleaning and sanitizing at home did you get when coming out of quarantine?

I have no personal experience with Covid.  However it would be good to sanitize surfaces and commonly used things such as door handles, light switches etc.

Maybe look up some info on good cleaning practices for a household with the flu.
At this point if all are vaccinated and have no underlying conditions, I would clean as though someone in the house had the flu.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

My husband contracted covid and just finished his 10 day mandatory quarantine (for those above 60 years old as compared to those below that age: 7 days). March 1 all close contacts do not have to undergo quarantine if one has completed all 3 doses of vaccine including the booster. I tested negative 3 days after husband started showing symptoms of mild covid.

I didn't do anything extraordinary with regard cleaning the house or any items in it. Soon the government is considering opening the land borders to the neighboring country to the north : Thailand. The daily cases of Covid are still quite high, hovering around 30,000

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.
