Florida Orlando as a trip .

Recommended Posts

Everything in Orlando is targeted at tourists. It's a very safe area. Besides the different themed parks there are all kinds of attractions to keep you amused.

The first time we went there we stayed at this place: https://www.celebrationsuitesfl.com/

I loved both the hotel and the area.

Something I liked in Orlando is that you can have a walk there. There are sidewalks and pedestrian crosses. Not all cities in the US can boast that, most are designed to go everywhere by car only.

I was born and raised two hours away from Orlando. Hurricane season is June-November so yes. That’s a thing. Summer in FL is also very hot and humid. But it also makes travel to Florida much cheaper during that time. Pedestrian-friendly and safe depends where you are in Orlando. There are a lot of touristy areas, and some places are more safe than others. There are big parts of the city that are very suburban and not so pedestrian-friendly, but parts that are more dense and walkable. I don’t know it well enough to recommend specific neighborhoods. You can use websites like Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor to research different areas, and most US cities have a convention and visitor’s bureau website that you can also use to research neighborhoods and orient yourself.

Fun fact: the first time I ever had Korean food was in Orlando.
