A large, earth-directed coronal mass ejection occurred yesterday and it is already here.

 

It is cloudy here, so I have to settle for watching the show on YouTube.

It's on our news here too.  The southern state of Tasmania has absolutely gorgeous images taken on iphones - no need for any professional shots.  Viewers said it has surpassed their imagination!
