You have been distressed by various trials.—1 Pet. 1:6.

Jesus knew that injustice would challenge the faith of his disciples. To help them deal with it, he gave an illustration that is recorded in the book of Luke. Jesus told the story of a widow who kept crying out to an unrighteous judge for justice. She was confident that her persistence would pay off. Eventually, the judge responded to her pleas. The application? Jehovah is not unjust. So Jesus said: “Certainly, then, will not God cause justice to be done for his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night?” (Luke 18:1-8) Then Jesus added: “When the Son of man arrives, will he really find this faith on the earth?” When we suffer injustice, we need to prove by our patience and perseverance that we have strong faith like that of the widow. With such faith, we can be confident that sooner or later Jehovah will act in our behalf. We also need to believe in the power of prayer. w21.11 23 ¶12; 24 ¶14

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

This is a very interesting comment. We can be 'challenged' when we see injustice whether we are the victim or not. Our hearts hurt when we see injustice because we have a Christ like personality and we love people, but our heart reaction may also tell us if we are being 'challenged' by the injustice. If we focus on what is going on the world and let our thinking be molded by the news media and social media, then we are losing the challenge. We need to stay focused on what Jehovah will do to correct the injustice instead of letting ourselves get distracted by discussing how bad things are around us.

CAUTION: The comments above may contain personal opinion, speculation, inaccurate information, sarcasm, wit, satire or humor, let the reader use discernment...:D

We hate to see injustice anywhere, even in Satan's world.  But injustice within the congregation literally can challenge our faith.

As Br. Winder said in his interview with Br. Cook "You will safeguard those who fully lean on you.  Because it is in you that they trust".

There has come to be a division in the brotherhood over the COVID event, a trap of Satan!   Is the way that we are handling it godly?  Imputing bad motives, suggesting disloyalty to the Slave, hubris and arrogance abounds, acting like karens rather than saying "what am I missing here?".   Have you had to walk back things you have said or thought about COVID or your brothers?    Can you admit to not understanding "the science" or having gotten caught up in the media version of what is going on?   I keep seeing nonsensical reasoning, Pharisaical traits and there is such an unreality in COVID "beliefs" that makes me have to avoid talking to the friends, I just hate it!

I see clearer that Jesus was not speaking of just adherance to his teachings but a complete dependance on Jehovah, a continuous crying out for his action in our behalf, to bring us back together.  We need His wisdom and loving care to heal this rift.  We will just have to be like Jacob wrestling with the angel and simply refuse to give up on "this faith".
