Ancient tablet found on Mt. Ebal

An early Hebrew inscription from Mount Ebal near Nablus recently underwent x-ray tomographic measurements to reveal the hidden text, predating any previously known Hebrew inscription in Israel by at least 200 years.

 

Joshua 8:30   "It was then that Joshua built an altar on Mount Ebal to Jehovah the God of Israel".

Thanks, I thought this sounded familiar.... it was splashed over the front page of the Israeli Haaretz newspaper last year, 25 March 2022.

What was interesting though was that Haaretz did a follow-up story a week-or-so after.... a full-page article published in the 5 April 2022 newspaper
