Indapipe: I'm not familiar with 't-tools'. I searched Google for it, but all it returned was about 500 skateboard tools. Can you enlighten me?

It's a message board that's been around for many years of brothers using technology for theocratic purposes. I've been on the board for more than 20 years. It started on Google Groups and then it migrated to groups.io a few years ago.

All our assigned territories disappeared from the Publisher App, even after it was updated to match new NWS!!

We fixed it by disabling "Show Territories" in the "App Settings", Send App-data, then re-enabling "Show Territories", Send App-data once more.

Wow, I just updated, and I liked the old color scheme better.

Those in our congregation who have already updated the app have a similar opinion about the color scheme. I'm not sure about it myself, not exactly loving it but it's not terrible either.

It is difficult for me to look at, the new colors hurt my eyes. I hope they change it.

If they don't change it, then perhaps the developers could add the option to select your preferred color scheme in the app settings.

or a Dark Mode.

Anyone else having trouble downloading and updating the NWS program? I hit the "check for update" button -> hit "update now" -> and then answer "yes" to the warning prompt, but then nothing happens...

Are you an adminstrator? An adminstrator should update first.

I ended up just going to the NWS website and downloading the 7.7 file from the website and it updated my program.

On the information board. What is the difference between letters and documents? When to use what? Isn't letters a form of document?

We consider letters to be from the CO or the Branch.  Documents may be decisions reached by the elders or resolutions, etc.

The same in my congregation.

In Documents we post the accounts announcement, group lists, full-map; and also share articles from our magazines, like disaster guidelines, medical articles, etc.

We've started assigning little young fellas to the task of setting up the platform tablet before the meeting and then plugging it in to charge after. For the most part they are not yet publishers so we don't see them in the list of app users. How could we get them into that list without changing their status to unbaptized publisher, and/or assign them a delegate (like a parent) that would receive a notification for their assignment. Or does the delegate feature only permit the delegate to report service for someone else, not receive notifications of assignments? Alternatively, could it be possible for them to install NWP on their tablet? Not being in the list of app users, they don't have a Person PIN. Any ideas.

Make a custom duty and assign them to it in their profile.

Here are the 2 steps. Yes they will have their own app pin number so you should be able to set it up if they use a tablet that has wifi even though they don't have a phone. Check with the parent if the child uses a table. Should work.

Thx for the reply. I may not have expressed myself adequately. They are already assigned and appear in NWS schedules. The goal is to find the way for them to receive notifications of their assignment, either via a delegate or their own NWP app on their own device. But not being on the App Users list, I don't see a Person PIN for them to be able to install the app.
