There was a time when they had a spare white shirt ready behind the platform in case a speaker showed up without a white shirt. I guess now they will have a fake beard ready.

I got it from an Forum for witnesses, where a brother received it from a brother...

 

Recognize that phrase from all the warnings that are given.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

 

 

It's strange that a cautious brother immediately gets pushed aside, and a vage "Photo sent to me" is taken on face value.

 

What's wrong do you think? It might be completely true, but we should never take it on face value when it's via via.

 

The GB mentioned this many times. And yes... Even when it comes from our brothers and sisters.

Actually, I asked him in DM and he said it was sent by a friend, who had received it from a friend, who had…

 

and this is where me and Robert are coming from. We would LOVE to know the original source! ❤️

Salt/pepper or just salt beards look very handsome and distinguished, my brother.  Just keep them groomed and conditioned and brushed.  You'll look right! :)

It looks like he is the only one in the group with a beard. If he was visiting our congregation, several of the brothers in the image would be wearing beards too. :beard3:

the pics  may well be true.....however considering our history in the past 70 years and the fact that there are many fakes passed around...  Just because someone I don’t know says I got it from a brother who got it from a brother, doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. Like hearsay,  I’m not quick to assume it is true.    It’s nothing personal, because I don’t know anyone personally.  

 

However, I do tend to think it is true, but I need confirmation 100% in my own mind before I believe it. :popcorn:

 

Sorry but the last 70 years has messed with my mind on beards.:lol1:

Maybe they got nervous when they heard he was coming, so they shaved for his visit. :lol1:

Well I stand corrected.  I guess because people have hinted that I sent unverified information even though I said I got it first hand, I'm a little sensitive to when it happens to other people.

Love believes all things (or is eager to believe the best).👌 However, if it isn't firsthand, we must be careful.
