Dear Readers,

I recently wrote a book called "The True Friend Shows Love at All Times"

I would like to inform you that as of today, April 1, 2024, I have begun working on the translation of the book into English.

A free trial of three chapters will be translated first.

Nice, can you tell us more about it?

The main events in the book take place between June 2002 and July 2004.

The book focuses on the friendship of Mark Harris and James Dempster and their travels through time.

Who is the mysterious teenage boy Zach who is interested in Mark and James' friendship? What secret will Mark and James solve about Zach? Where has James gone and will Mark find him? The answers to these and other questions are in the full version of the book.

As of today (July 15, 2024), the translation project is on hold as I am working on another script teen drama project "The Truth Transforms Lives".

But in any case, I am always ready to resume work on the book translation project. The announcement of the end of the translation can be made twice a year: in March or in July (of the following year). It all depends on the readers.

If possible share my book with others, the book has my e-mail (as the writer). Those who want to know more about the continuation of the translation.

Any translation takes time and effort. During these six months, I saw less interest in my book. I found only one person who appreciates my time and effort.

I understand being unmotivated, but if I may make one comment? Writing isn't like live-streaming. You publish a book, and people can still discover it years later. JW's are incredibly good at word of mouth. Someone finds something they like, and they'll tell people, even if it's long after publication.

I'm putting off translating my book until I can achieve my dream. I wrote my dream in a book. Anyone who has read it will understand what my dream is.

If I achieve this dream, I will have the motivation to continue translating the book.

My dear brother, if I may kindly make a few comments… Immersion in culture and language would appear to me to be a fairly large task if the goal is to make your book appear more native English, or American English in its structure and references and history and usage. While I don’t know how long it took you to write the book in the language that you’re translating from you probably recognize that it took time and determination and perhaps a long time to complete it. In truth, I cannot imagine how long it might’ve taken because in the very few times when I have thought to transcribe some experience of my own, completing just one full page and making it match my expectation, took a very, very long time for me. My only thought that I might offer is to, have a native English speaker of American English edit your manuscript that you have created so far and ask them to adjust whatever they feel would make the reading of your book accord with American English well, not changing the actual storyline. In truth, American English, and the Queen’s English of Britain have diverged substantially, so you want to make sure which direction you would want to go. My 2 cents with a hope for your best success. Warm regards my Brother

Thank you for your opinion.
However, this will not change my decision. I know there will be those who will talk me out of it because they don't know my circumstances.
I want to move to the US, not only to translate my book, but for another reason: To find a safer place.

I always think about the future. If you've read an excerpt from my book, you know what I'm talking about.

However, if you haven't read, you don't know in which country Mark lived (I'm writing about myself).
Mark came to the US in 2028 (however, he wanted to live in 2002). I don't think I will wait until 2028 to move to the US, for me the sooner the better.

I hope I can find someone to help me.
