Solar Eclipse April 2024

We were fortunate enough to be in the path of totality.  Three of our families and two guests got together for lunch and watched the event from first indication through totality.  We got to see the "diamond ring" feature and it is now halfway back to regular light.  Very amazing feture of Jehovah's creation...💗

 Every store and library was out of glasses, about 40 minutes before the eclipse, I met guy and he had extra pair glasses. I got my wallet out and gave him $2. It was amazing. Just looking at the sun without the glasses is about 20 or more times brighter.
 

 A matter of fact, a guy walked past me and told me he was looking at the sun without the glasses and he was seeing red spots. I told him you might see those spots for next couple of days.

The temperature dropped almost 10 degrees when the sun was blocked.  We have a regular share of tornado warnings in a year and the sky got that "greenish" shade in our yard when the sun was obscured.  We had a breeze and it got cool when the sky darkened.
