Octopuses have three hearts.

Two pump blood to the gills, and one to the rest of the body.

But here’s the kicker:

That third heart stops when they swim.

So technically… swimming is stressful for an octopus.

They’d rather crawl than get cardiovascularly dramatic.

Meanwhile, humans have one heart…

and we get anxious just thinking about swimming.

Jehovah made a creature with three hearts that hates cardio

and gave it camouflage, jet propulsion, and ink defense—

but no backbone.

Literally. No spine.

Yet it escapes sharks with style.

If you want an octopus expert, ask the purple one named Justinah.

Had a dream a few days ago. It was hilarious. We were sitting in a bleacher and this brother dressed in a dragon outfit kept coming up and down in a pit while we sang the song with words "at the temple gate" 🤣🎶

Poor Dennis the menace ( one of our elders who is 9 days younger then me )

In my dream I told him this is what people will remember you for. 😂

Consciousness, that annoying time between naps!

You are right!

I have a fear of being nude in public so I'm going to take your advice and walk to the store naked. Whats the worse  that can happen? I might get arrested? No problem! At least I will conquer my fear!

I’m terrified of making direct eye contact with a grizzly bear. But it’s time to grow. I’m heading to Yellowstone with a folding chair and a mirror. Let’s do this.

Y'all missed the first part about "risking the life of you or your family"   :raspberry:

Name a first world country

Name a third world country

Now... Name a second world country 🤔

Most people are familiar with “First World” (wealthy, Western democracies) and “Third World” (poorer, non-aligned or formerly colonized countries). But “Second World” was a Cold War-era term referring to countries aligned with the Soviet Union and its communist allies—like the USSR itself, Eastern Bloc nations, China, Cuba, and others.

These weren’t necessarily poor, but they weren’t part of the Western capitalist bloc either. They had centrally planned economies and authoritarian governments.

Today, the term isn’t commonly used. Instead, we describe countries as developed, developing, or least developed, based on economic and human development factors.

That said, some modern nations that were considered “Second World” include Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and parts of Eastern Europe. Their economies and political systems have evolved, but the historical context still shapes how we think about global divisions.

Man, i'm over here thinking i done made a 'gotcha' moment. like a "We say first and third but no one describes or talk about second. Well time to get more shower thoughts, but it is nice to know that second world country is technically a real thing.

Careful, I will derail and jump conversations like i was a pole jumper in the Olympics. Reply with caution🥺🤣

🐟 When the Ocean Sends a Memo: “Brace Yourself”

Well, this is awkward.

Fishermen off the coast of Tamil Nadu, India, recently hauled in something that caused more than a few raised eyebrows—a rare oarfish, a long, silvery creature usually found in the deepest parts of the ocean. This wasn’t just your average fish tale. At nearly 15 feet long, it looked like something that had been filed under “mythical sea noodles.”

Locals quickly gathered at the beach, some snapping photos, others whispering concerns. You see, the oarfish has a bit of a reputation—it’s often called a doomsday fish in parts of Asia, where folklore links it to earthquakes or tsunamis. The idea is that these deep-sea residents only rise to the surface when something’s gone wrong below.

Now, scientists would like to have a word: there’s no direct evidence linking oarfish sightings to impending natural disasters. But when a deep-ocean creature that usually lives around 1,000 meters underwater shows up uninvited, people take notice. It’s like seeing a submarine parked in your driveway—you’re going to wonder what it’s doing there.

This isn’t the first time an oarfish has caused a stir. Similar sightings in Japan and the Philippines have led to both viral videos and community-wide side-eyes toward the horizon. Some experts say changes in ocean currents, underwater tremors, or even disorientation could bring them to the surface.

“Some folks see this oarfish and immediately say, ‘It’s a sign!’ But let’s be honest—the real signs worth watching are found in the Scriptures. Unlike viral sea creatures, God’s Word doesn’t just hint at what’s coming—it tells the truth, plainly and without sensationalism. No deep dive required.”

Reminds me of the one I heard on texting years ago: The earth's rotation has been measurably slowed due to English teachers rolling over in their graves at the approach of texting by cellphone.
