I understand purple too🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mountain Dew Voltage or Purple Thunder.   Sorry to all for getting away from the coffee subject.   I wish our bodies could handle everything without issues.   If that was true, I would eat half a bag of animal cookies for dinner on occasion.

Animal cookies?

Do you check each cookie to make sure it isn't broken?

You know that you can't eat them if the seal is broken...

:whistling:

We knew morning coffee was good for us... and science has finally proved it

But there’s one thing you finally don’t need to say no to: your morning coffee. And scientists even have our backs on this one. Praise be!

It’s not just that getting your caffeine fix isn’t manifestly bad for you, either; it could actually keep you alive for longer. New research has found a link between drinking a pre-lunch coffee and a significantly reduced risk of heart disease. According to a decade-long study of 40,000 US adults by Tulane University in Louisiana, people who were specifically morning coffee drinkers were 31 per cent less likely to die of cardiovascular disease – and 16 per cent less likely to die earlier of any cause at all – than those who drank no coffee.

These are exactly the types of studies I am talking about earlier!

The above is an epididiomology study....(survey) and they are super misleading!!!

So it's claimed that people who drink coffee in the morning have a significantly reduced risk of heart disease. But it's a stretch to say that coffee is "Good for us and science has proved it!" That's a sensationalised clickbait headline if i've ever seen one!! 🤣🤣🤣 this doesn't prove that coffee itself is the reason for their better heart health.

For all we know, the coffee drinkers in the study might also have had healthier lifestyles—exercising regularly, eating balanced diets, and avoiding late-night alcohol binges—while those who didn’t drink coffee might have been more likely to party all night, skip breakfast, and lead sedentary lives.

These studies are like saying, "Out of 100 people, those who wore red shoes had a lower risk of heart disease." At first glance, this might seem like a groundbreaking discovery. But upon closer inspection, what if the red-shoe wearers also happened to exercise more, eat healthier, and see their doctor regularly, while the non-red-shoe wearers led less active lifestyles? The shoes themselves have nothing to do with heart health—it’s the lifestyle choices of the people wearing them. Similarly, in this study, the real factors influencing heart health may have little to do with the coffee itself and everything to do with the habits of the coffee drinkers.... it's not a true cause and effect study, and quite propagandist if you ask me 🤣

@Tortuga I'm glad you like your coffee, I like mine too, but c'mon with this study on a thread about quitting coffee! Give the poor bloke a chance 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A broke "bloke" is no joke when they can't afford coffee.  Not sure that even makes sense.   Sorry for the deviation, but I just had to know if "bloke" was a fighting word or not...
