jw library went greyscale

I downloaded the Emphasized Bible from the “what’s new” on jw library and lost the color on the Bible page. Also all my Bible bookmarks are gone.  I already had the latest version so I deleted and reloaded the library, but the color was not restored on the Bible books.  I can manually restore the bookmarks and my favorites, but can’t figure out how to get the Bible page colors back.

When you downloaded the Bible, did you tried to switch back to Study Bible or NWT before you deleted and reinstalled the app? because sometimes you might had forgotten or didn't realized that you accidentally switch Bibles.

I am using an iPhone 12. Erosion 17.4.  I restarted a couple times, then reinstalled.  No joy.  I was in a group service meeting and showed the greyscale app to my sis, she noted how weird it was, but it was still usable.  I closed the app, and a few minutes later I opened it up to look for a scripture I had bookmarked (yeah, I knew my bookmarks were gone, but habits) and the app was in color again.  I showed my sis and said”you saw it  in greyscale” and she said she did.  So I showed it to her again…and she just shook her head…so we dunno…now if only my bookmarks and highlighted scriptures will come back.  My iPad never changed so I still have everything, I just need to copy it over.

Yes, I looked in the help file and it mentioned downloading the latest version.  I already had the laters version so I uninstalled/reinstalled (like it was Win 95).  Then I had nothing but Rotterdam, so downloaded the Study Bible, the Portuguese version of the study Bible, the interlinier, Byington, ASV, and KJ.  And NWT in Hawai’i Pidgin.  So now I have more than enough cross references, and just need to bookmark whatever I had saved.  Or maybe leave it and bookmark different ones. And be cautious about poking at something that looks new…

Something new has come up since trying to restore my bookmarks.  My old bookmarks have chapter and verse plus the beginning sentence of the verse.  New bookmarks have chapter only has the book and chapter.  Eeek, what am I doing wrong?  I will go over the tutorial again, even though it seems that nothing applies.

Ok, sorted the bookmark issue.  Can’t have more than one verse selected.  Sorry I’m such a pain…having memory retention issues and sometimes everything looks foreign.  Kinda ties in with today’s WT…I have faith that Jehovah can fix my heart, but my broken brain might have to wait…
