Hey @Katty,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts - I really appreciate different perspectives on this topic. It’s important that we have these discussions, as AI is evolving fast, and it’s natural to have concerns, questions, and even suggestions about where it should or shouldn’t be used.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been working intensely on expanding the platform’s capabilities, and one of the key aspects I focused on is giving writers more control over how AI assists them. That’s why I structured it into three different modes, each designed for different types of writers and needs.

1️⃣ You Write – AI Assists → This is for writers who want full creative control but could use AI for polishing their work—whether that’s improving grammar, refining sentence flow, or structuring ideas more clearly. AI doesn’t write here; it just enhances what the writer has already created.

2️⃣ AI Writes – You Refine → This mode is for those who have ideas but don’t necessarily want to do all the heavy lifting themselves. Writers provide input—whether that’s a concept, a rough draft, or just a description of what they want—and AI generates a structured piece that they can then edit, rewrite, or refine to match their style. It’s more like a co-writing tool rather than an “AI writes everything for you” kind of thing.

3️⃣ Instant Book Generation → This one is for people who just need to produce books quickly, often for practical purposes—like marketing materials, educational books, creative storytelling, personal projects, and more. AI does most of the work here, but the user still gets to define the format, tone, and structure.

I totally get where you’re coming from when you talk about originality and the role of AI in content creation. I don’t think AI can (or should) replace human creativity, insight, and unique perspectives—but I do believe it can support writers in different ways, depending on what they need. Some use it as an assistant, some as a brainstorming partner, and some just as a tool to speed up parts of the process that don’t require deep creativity.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this ❤️

Again though, the only assistance AI will be able to give will be ideas that have been done many times. If you want to find a common trope or archetype, yes, AI would be a good tool to use. If, however, you want to bring a novel perspective to a story, then AI will be useless at this.

@Katty

Can I ask why you think that?

Recently, a few of my friends started testing an AI Books, just as an experiment, and they were blown away. They got so immersed in the stories that they couldn’t put them down. I personally generated an entire list of books based on my preferences and for the first time, I’m reading exactly what I’ve always been looking for but could never find anywhere. My wife, who never really liked reading also generated a few and now every time I ask what she’s doing, she says "I’m reading those AI generated books" 😅

What truly amazed us (and my friends) is that the generated books have an incredibly rich and captivating style, perfectly tailored to individual tastes. These are completely new books, ones that don’t exist on the market and have never been read by anyone before. I don’t think the issue is AI’s ability to generate books or support writers but rather that people simply aren’t aware of what’s possible yet. But even Amazon Books has already implemented an option for authors to disclose if their books were written with AI assistance or not, which means that AI-generated content is already a major part of the industry. You might have even read AI-assisted books without realizing it.

One of my friends from my congregation, whom I think I mentioned before, is a surgical assistant. Just for fun, he generated a book about the behind-the-scenes life of surgeons and was stunned by the accuracy - even though this kind of knowledge isn’t widely known outside the operating room.

We’ve also generated sci-fi novels, travel diaries from remote islands that are barely covered in bookstores, and even books designed to enhance cognitive plasticity - gradually increasing neural flexibility with each page read (we’re currently testing this idea further).

Another area we’ve been experimenting with is AI-generated cybersecurity handbooks for 2025, containing highly advanced security strategies based on newly discovered vulnerabilities - some of which are nearly impossible to find in existing educational materials.

The AI Books holds more knowledge and adaptability than any single person ever could but we still want to support authenticity and human creativity. That’s why, alongside the generator itself, we’ve also introduced AI-powered tools that help refine writing, improve style, and translate into over 40 languages- not just word-for-word, but in a way that truly captures the intended meaning in each language.

By the way, have you had the chance to generate a book yourself? I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts if you try it out 😊

Hello, dear brother! Perhaps I'm not entirely on topic, and moreover, I'm being translated from Russian by AI, but I have long wanted to use OUR translation of the Bible in the Obsidian program. I thought, maybe the program you kindly offer to test could somehow help automate the transfer of the New World Translation to Markdown format? I'm grateful in advance for your response.
With brotherly love,

Hi Brother, nice to see a fellow Obsidian user.

Have you tried using the Pandoc program to convert the New World Translation?

https://pandoc.org/

I just had a try (with the assistance of AI for command line parameters, although the command line format is quite logical).

 pandoc -f epub -t markdown --extract-media=./media .\nwt_E.epub -o nwt_E.md
 pandoc -f epub -t gfm .\nwt_E.epub -o nwt_E_gfm.md

It appeared successful and Obsidian is happy to load the 12MB markdown file but it then seemed to lock up while I started composing this message. Each verse is preceded by an annotation in the form []{#1001061107-split7.xhtml_chapter7_verse8}. I made another attempt using 'Github flavored markdown'. This used a different format for the verse link 'annotations' and Obsidian seems to display this better, although it is warning me that indexing is taking a long time with this file and appears to be locked up again.

I suspect an approach splitting the file into individual Bible books may work better, along with exploring which flavors of markdown work best with Obsidian. AI tools could likely assist in an approach to automatically split the EPUB or the markdown files, either using Pandoc or some custom scripting along with Pandoc.

I could see a nice Bible study workflow with Obsidian.

Story.ai, from what I know, is a simple tool for generating short stories after filling in simple form, something that can easily be done with ChatGPT or Deepseek.

AI Books, on the other hand, is something entirely different. Even though it’s still evolving, I think it’s the first AI-powered book creation platform that truly enables full-length book generation. AI Books creates up to 20 chapters, offers 15 literary styles, supports 40+ languages, ensures plagiarism-free content, maintains consistency throughout the book, and even analyzes factual coherence - all while generating a fully publishable book in under 2 minutes.

It also provides genres and narrative perspectives, ensuring books are structured, engaging, and tailored to specific tones. Plus, AI Books is more than just an auto-generator - it already offers three modes to match different writing needs:

    1.    You Write – AI Assists: AI helps refine your writing, improving structure, style, and grammar.
    2.    AI Writes – You Refine: AI generates content based on your ideas, and you fine-tune it.
    3.    Instant Book Generation: AI writes everything from start to finish—ready to publish.

It’s not just about generating stories, it’s about creating full-length books that are ready to read and sell.

Yes, exactly! At the moment, I have several books written with the help of AI Books which are currently selling on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/stores/Marcel-Lewandowski/author/B0D4X9SRZF

Every book written or fully generated using AI Books validates correctly and can be published on Amazon becoming available for sale both in digital and print formats.

The most interesting part is that there’s no limit. You can write or generate even 100 books using AI Books, publish them all for free on Amazon, and earn passive income from them - while using the saved time for spiritual matters, family, passion projects, or simply enjoying life.
