Problem While Listening To The Bible In The App

Instead of doing my Bible READING, I now do my Bible LISTENING. 😁

 

I have sketchy Internet access so I have downloaded the entire Bible's audio files onto my phone.

 

Two updates ago, I noticed that, when the app would finish reading a chapter, instead of continuing on to the next chapter, it would go back and re-read the last three or four verses of the same chapter.

 

This out of sync reading is very distracting, confusing and annoying.

 

Was wondering 

A.  Is anyone else experiencing this glitch

 

and 

B.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this verse repetition to stop?

Hi Ross,

Could you please confirm you are playing the reading through the JWLib app?

I has a similar problem with the Bible Reading, but I was using a separate MP3 player.

You are not using a MP3 player are you?

Yes.  I am listening to the downloaded Bible books on my Android phone...a 2022 Motorola Edge.

i would try a google search of the problem and the device and whatever app you may be using. someone else might have asked and been answered.

 

for instance, this page is about troubleshooting audio problems with android, but without knowing specificallly how/when you are using it I can't do a more thorough search:
