MEMORIAL DATE
After Sundown
Saturday, April 12

The gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.—Rom. 6:23.

On our own, we could never redeem ourselves from sin and death. (Ps. 49:7, 8) So at great cost to himself and to his dear Son, Jehovah arranged for Jesus to give his life in our behalf. The more we meditate on what Jehovah and Jesus sacrificed for us, the more we will appreciate the ransom. When Adam sinned, he forfeited the prospect of everlasting life not only for himself but also for all his children. In order to buy back what Adam lost, Jesus offered his own perfect life as a sacrifice. During his entire life on earth, Jesus “committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth.” (1 Pet. 2:22) At the time of his death, Jesus’ perfect life corresponded exactly to the life Adam lost.—1 Cor. 15:45; 1 Tim. 2:6. w24.01 10 ¶5-6

We are on the west coast of the United States so we are in some of the last time zones to celebrate the Memorial. From what I could find American Samoa is the last populated time zone. I did find some information jw.org about American Samoa. https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/worldwide/AS/

Our Memorial will start at 7:30pm, with sunset at 7:56 pm. So we have about 28 hours to go. It was interesting doing research about the different time zones. For some with old kids it could make a fun project for family worship.

Ours is at 7:15 and sunset is 7:42, the speaker will be watching the clock. The outline is timed and there is 27 minutes of material before the emblems are passed. :lol1:

It will be closer to 7:35 by the time the song and prayer is done so that will help too. We are the only congregation in our KH so that means no rush to get out afterwards too.
