For suggestions on things to do I offer a few ideas based on the trips my wife and I have taken there.

We have always enjoyed:

Broadway Plays

Circle Line Tours, on the east bank of the Hudson, near 43rd St. It is about an hour boat ride, leaving the home pier, heading south around the tip of Manhattan, up the East River past the Bronx and back down the Hudson to home.  It is interesting to see many of the famous bridges and landmarks.

This may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed touring the 911 Memorial, at the intersection of Greenwich St and Fulton. Some very interesting history of the original towers, their destruction, and new structures. Under one of the original buildings there were several floors below street level which housed parking garages and mechanical equipment. These underground floors now house part of the museum. I thought it all very educational and interesting, however my wife was emotionally troubled by the last underground floor we toured there. It contains multiple emergency vehicles, fire truck, ambulance, etc. which were on the scene after the first building collapsed. And then, when the second one fell, these vehicles were crushed and burned. When you consider those who were operating them, and anyone who might have been aboard the ambulances at the time, it is rather sobering.

I noticed you are in Austin. I am just up the road, in Tyler.

Id say not a winter time, you never know what kind of weather conditions you can expect. Are you going to visit:

- Warwick?

- Wallkill?

- Patterson?

check avaibility especially for Patterson, sometimes there are no free slots for the next 9-10 months (depending how many people are traveling with you).

🙏 Thank you! 🙏
