The Third Door

I found a wonderful book written by a brother that I have been enjoying all weekend> It is based on his true-life experiences as a witness. It doesn't work on a Kindle because the file is too large. There are many photographs in the book. It can be read on a tablet using the Kindle app though.

"We all make choices every day. In this true story, Ted, a farm boy in Northern California, has to decide between two promising careers or a chance to volunteer at "Bethel"--World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brooklyn, New York. Ted chooses to volunteer at the printery in Bethel.
Over the course of the next six years, he develops lifelong friendships, refines his communication skills, and serves as a congregation servant. Then, Ted and his new bride, Alice, spend six years as Circuit Overseers, in the Midwest, serving in one of the most violent areas in the Midwest. And finally, they move to Clinton, Tennessee, where Ted opens a business.
At each turn, Ted collects amazing life lessons and shares them in the form of engaging stories. At the same time, Ted's life takes some unexpected turns. Through it all, he relies on Jehovah, remains positive, and lands on his feet".

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
