Help with new ipad

Recommended Posts

Good evening family. I just purchased a new iPad Pro. I transferred everything from my old one via iCloud. In JW Library, all my personal study notes are there, but all my highlights and notes in the Bible are gone. is there any way to transfer those? Also notes in the SFL, my talk outlines, etc, gone.

I restored the back up, my personal study notes are there, but no publications, and no highlights or notes in the Bible or other publications. Thoughh the school for elders boo still has my highlights and comments.

The documents are not part of the JW library back up. It is only a backup of your notes..

That is why the backup is in your "personal note" section

“You can save your notes, tags, highlights, favorites, and bookmarks to a backup file. This file can be restored on the same device or a different device.”

As regard your highlights in the Bible, be sure you have the correct version of the Bible loaded. Is it a study version? The regular version? etc.

no publications

I wonder if it’s possible that notes that were from or attached to publications that you had not downloaded yet were discarded during the import of the backup file?

I might suggest deleting JW Library and then re-downloading it, but do not import your backup file until after you’ve downloaded the Bible and all the other publications
