Help Create Poetry One Sentence At A Time

As Joe went to sleep, he dreamed for a time

It brought him comfort knowing someone would start a new rhyme

Here is the NEW rhyme, that starts with this post.

Let's hope this new rhyme doesn't turn to toast

It can't, because this one is about Love!

[Qapla]

a way that helps us in lieu of

[Piano Man]

Of unhealthy food as candy, cake, potato chips  Or there of 

[Qapla]

Let's give the start of this new poem a healthy shove

And create each below-line to rhyme with the above.

Next line starts with, life is good, with knowledge of the truth   

(this has 13 syllables)

And the line was quickly read by Ruth

Ruth was moved by this poetry, and wondered if it could be for her.

I like thirteen syllables all standing in a row

If the next lie's shorter then it doesn't get to go

Ruth and Ralph stood there toe-to-toe

Regardless of the syllable count, they were eager to see where this would go

Try iambic pentameter; rhyme it in verse: if you use trochee that is inverse

while interweaving is faced  and laced

Haiku are short poems that are expressed in three lines, and have 17 syllables throughout.

Never vexed

Then tell it out when meet folks next

Strange as it may seem,
the grass, like leaves are not really green.

As they ponder what has been said and extract the truth

It brings comfort to both Ralph and Ruth

Look to the sky and see the rain,
to most of us, as we age it's a pain.

While age is something to think about

Ralph and Ruth are still quite stout

As they ponder what the future will bring

Songs about the New System they love to sing

kingdom songs move them both to tears

 calming all their anxiety and fears
