How has the brotherhood been more of a family than blood?

Recommended Posts

In this one, I want to get a sense of how you strongly you feel about the brotherhood.

Give at least one or two examples of how the friends came to your assistance when you needed help the most.

Did you feel God’s hand in the matter? And how has it deepened your love for the friends?

And how was your relationship with your fleshly family affected when you accepted the truth? Did any of them accept? If not, how did the congregation take you in as their own?

Also, if you had a conflict with a member of your congregation, how did you resolve it? And did it make you better friends afterwards?

Seeing your responses not only allow me to get to know you more, but may also help me with certain situations I (and others) might face in the future.

Leviticus 19:18: “‘You must not take vengeance nor hold a grudge against the sons of your people, and you must love your fellow man as yourself.”

The unity and peace of the Christian brotherhood means everything to me.

I have made a vow with myself that I will never allow any problem to come between me and any  brother or sister.

i am always ready to forgive and overlook any offense,

I am always ready to apologize to anyone I offend,

I am always ready to smile and laugh with everyone in this brotherhood.

Way back when I was brand new in the truth, baptized only a handful of months, I was going through a difficulty that wore me down emotionally. (...details omitted since I'm not proud of it...) Just at that moment I was given my very first talk assignment in the theocratic school—my first Bible reading! It was only in hindsight that I would later look back and see that Jehovah had this sights on me. He was just distracting me so I could concentrate on my first talk. And, 'how did that school overseer know?'
