I like smoked salmon too but it is for between meal treat.  Smoked salmon is dangerous to give to our small poodles because of SPD from Neorickettsia helminthoeca that's not killed by smoking.

Good idea thanks. I only made it once and it was super simple compared to how you're meant to do it but it tasted the same, so good...

Coming in second may be something I make either in a cast iron skillet of air fryer ... chicken breast with potatoes and onions.

 

The easy air fryer method for 1 person:

 

Cut up one potato into medium sized cubes. Lightly oil and season with your preferred seasonings

Put in air fryer set at 400º for 15 minutes. Shake basket a couple times during first 8 minutes

While potatoes cook, cut up chicken breast into similar sized cubes (chicken can be semi-frozen)

Lightly coat with oil and season with your preferred seasonings.

When timer reaches 8 minutes, add chicken and shake slightly.

Re-shake every two minutes

When there is about 5 minutes left on air fryer, place desired amount and type of onion in microwave and cook on high setting. Onions don't fare well in an air fryer basket at 400º

Serve in bowl or on plate with cooked onions.
