Bavarian Police reports say the suspect was in the entrance hall of the Würzburg Central Station at around 7.50am. Würzburg is located in central Germany, east of Frankfurt in the Bavaria region.

 

He approached the Jehovah's Witness stand and then stabbed at a 68-year-old man and physically attacked a 55-year-old and a 51-year-old, police said.

 

A spokesperson for Bavarian Police said: 'Several passersby, including a plainclothes police officer, immediately intervened and were able to subdue the 35-year-old.

 

That's awful.

Police confirmed that the three injured suffered minor injuries and are receiving medical treatment from emergency services. The area around the station has been cordoned off as authorities continue their investigation, reviewing footage from the station's security cameras and searching the 35-year-old's apartment to gather more evidence about the motives and circumstances of the attack.
