The power of naming a thing

Found the closeted republican…

Pretty much the opposite. I just get tired of the political commentaries. If it has to do with actions that identify we are closer to the so be it. But in the meantime it’s like I tell worldly people when Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden and now Trump I guess he’s doing the best he can. What’s your excuse for being politically?

I took it as a joke on Brandon's part rather than as being political.

Plus, stupid is as stupid does. It has no political affiliation.

Stupidity goes right across the spectrum? Yep! It certainly does! And it comes in all colors! 😂

I think we will have a huge geographic change after Armageddon thus requiring name changes.

That’s great but I promise you, until then, the power to kill a name is a great power to have indeed. And I proved that already at the outset of this post. You should really be more sensitive and thoughtful to this great power.

When we go preaching to First Nations people who suffered colonization and cultural eradication, this act of taking away their name absolutely matters. As ministers we need to be compassionate to the concerns of people we preach to, not flippantly shouting “who cares if he erases the name.”

Please review the verses and articles I linked at the outset. Thanks ☺️
