7 yrs old is too young!!!

My daughter turns 16 next week, and the boys are starting to hang around, I can guarantee when I agree to let her date (which may be never, lol) no 7 yr old will be chaperoning!!!!

Well, now, I don't know... back when we were dating our best chaperone was the little 4 year old girl of a Witness couple who lived with my husband before we got married. She loved us both and wanted to sit right between us! She never left our side, either! :upsidedown:

Personally I would have as a chaperon some who was baptised, and in a good standing with the elders. I would even lean towards an older one in the congregation. I would not ask someone younger than myself, especially a child, who as Bob said: could get distracted with a cookie and disney channel. Nor a teenager who is going through those wonderful rough patches.
