I'm Back!

After two weeks of illness, then three weeks of holiday in Czech Republic and finding on return that my computer was dead!, I finally am back online!

 

The memorial at the English congregation in Prague was wonderful, and we renewed acquaintance with two sisters who had stayed in our home in London 7 years ago!

The we went to Čáslav congregation and then to Klatovy congregation, staying with brothers after leaving Prague.

It was a wonderful time.

Do I remember correctly that you have been in Czech language activities? Were you able to brush up your language skills during the trip?

Astrid, we were staying near the Bavarian border just outside Domažlice.  It was wonderful although bitterly cold!

 

LoneWanderer, yes we were able to improve our Czech language skills somewhat.  In a restaurant on the last evening, the waiter thought my wife and I were Czech, then when we disabused him of that he thought our parents were maybe Czech.  That filled us with confidence.
