Deleting Trash Can On Samsung Note.

Recommended Posts

I would love to know in the Gmail box there is the Trash can.

I have tried to empty that but couldn't find the setting.

Its different to my bigpond email settings. On the Note. Thanks for any help.

The trash can icon sends the message to the trash label. There, it is slated to be permanently removed in 30 days. There is nothing you need to do.

If you really want to not wait until they are permanently deleted on their own, you might be able to go to Labels -> Trash, and do something in there (check them off and then delete them, I dont know). I just don't know because I would rather choose to do something like that from a PC on the web version.

Thanks Bob. I will look for that setting.. I have 2 emails Which I can access on my Laptop and delete.

But the one linked to the Note is a gmail. I have tried to go onto the Gmail account from the Laptop to be able to go into it and Delete.

But haven't figured how to access it.
I can access it on My Note that way. I have the other 2 email accounts also linked to my note for when I am away.

I can delete one of them too. :shrugs:  :shrugs:

When I want to delete the trash in my gmail - I use a pc. It never works on my phone.

I click - more - as the trash is always hidden, then I click the box that selects everything and then delete! I am HUGE on deleting - I HATE clutter!!

Fortunately, Debbie is the same way.

Jerry In the gmail. I have 2 other email accounts. The one I use on my Phone. I thought I had linked to the other gmails.
So I could go in & view from my Laptop. I type in the search bar in the Gmail But it doesn't show up. I think I am missing something.

The email. Is the one I use for this site.

Thanks for any help

My Gmail trash gets emptied after a certain amount of time, but I don't like to keep it that long so I usually delete it every week.
