I have the WT CD that I received through my congregation.  I have it loaded on my laptop and use it extensively to study for the weekly meetings, and personal research.  I can not, however, carry my laptop with me to a lot of places, like I can my Android Tablet.  How do I get my personal copy of the WT CD installed on my tablet?  If you can, perhaps you can send me an email of the links or other information that will help me do what I need in order to use the WT CD on my android.

The CD or the data on the CD cannot be transfered or just copied onto an android device. It is designed only for use on Windows based PCs.

If you want the full Watchtower Library on your Android device the only way I know is to purchase iSilo (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dcco.app.iSilo&hl=en ) and then get the 2 files that encompass the Watchtower library (WTPub-EN-Full-2012 & WTPub-EN_DX_2012). You can get those files through registering at Meekspace.com

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Unfortunately, the Branch has been very active in making it very  difficult to have the WT Library CD on anything but a Microsoft platform. (Note the Branch has gone to an all MS environment.)  The following has been posted by the Meekspace admin:

"We no longer provide direct downloads to the organizations publications. This includes the wtlib in iSilo format and Videos."

Any other suggestions????

Thank you in advance for your assistance

The branch only asked us to remove the "Complete, individual publications" from direct download. You can still request what you want on the meekpace forum and a temporary link will be sent to you  This includes the WT Library in isilo files. The Branch did not request them removed, but we did so along with the other isilo publications..

While we are on the subject, has anybody here got a copy of WT Library 1999?.  I want to try a pc emulator for android, run Windows 3.1 with the WTLib.  1999 was the last version to work with win3.1, and also the Online version goes back to 2000 anyway, so best of both worlds.

While at home because of sickness, I got the Watchtower Library 1999 running on my android tablet.  I used an app called Aemula from the google store, that emulates a 486 PC.  Installed MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 onto a hard drive image and copied a ISO of the CD to the tablet.  Its just as I remember it.  Although I did not remember it also had the Babylon and Your Will books as well, and various charts from the Insight books.  Also the "Study Projects" feature.
