Is Jwplayer For Android Dead?

It's not in the market anymore, and my app won't connect to the latest magazines.

When I put jwplayer in the Google store search for app it gave me jwpodcaster...is that the same thing? It immediately loaded all the new mags.

jwreader is different than jwpodcaster I had both apps but deleted jwpodcaster , my jwreader won't load daily text but magazines are okay

Yes it is different. You don't get it from Google Play. There is one on GP that is named the same.

I think It changed the name to wt player... I gess this because when I search jwplayer that app appears and it says I already bought it

There are two :jwreaders". When the brother's from Syntax pulled there's from the Google play store at the Branch's request, the people who put out "JWPlayer" started marketing their own, paid version. It is not near as good as the original jwreader which is still available through the Syntax website here:

JWreader will also do some audio, like the Bible reading.

 

As for JW Player" mine and everyone else's that I know has stopped working. Mine tells me I need to update it and when I try to, they try to sell me their version of jwreader, even though I paid for jwplayer. 

 

I think it's because the jw.org site changes their podcast feed links every now and then, jwplayer has trouble keeping up.

 

They may also have run into an issue with the name "JW Player" since there was already an Android app with that name.

Maybe I'm wrong then. I just have the wtplayer and not that one... But from the play store descrption I thought it didn't had audio...
