Hi, am sorry I couldn't open the link... but just thinking of what both of you said...very interesting, perhaps not just greed, but this global warming.  Remember I guess it was last year in the middle of this country that we suffered a drought.  All the corn and wheat was ruined, the heat was unbearable over 100 degrees in some states, then all the crazy wild weather in parts of Europe, Russia, Japan earthquakes, typoons, South America, was hit by heavy rains, flooding, mud slides, cyclones in India, the Phillipines,  fishing lakes, drying up in Texas, the Rio Grande at its lowest point in History, umm.... food shortages?  Yes, very much so brothers, not just greed.   The weather changes, the heat waves, the pollution, and the greedy merchants, governments -  war mongers... yes I agree with both of you!  The scales of Rev 6, are riding fast.

Not to mention cloud seeding. I don't want to get on a big government soap box so I'll stop here and introduce the thought and give a link which will go to millions of other links so you can think for your self. But this has been going on since 1946 I believe, and as someone connected to forestry, the death of many forests everywhere has caused grave concern. Hmmm.

And another reason for food shortages is the mismanagement by governments and industry watchdogs in overseeing the industry that feeds their populations - see this thread on Venezuela by Brother Antonio, a real eye opener. http://jwtalk.net/forums/topic/27052-regards-from-venezuela/?page=5

Yesterday, I saw a program on Australian current affairs show Four Corners which showed the utter decimation of the dairy industry.  It was due in part to the Co-op becoming a part company, now with shareholders competing with profits from the producers - the farmers.  At first the farmers were assured their margins would not suffer due to this obvious conflict of interest - their share would be linked to the price of milk, as would the dividends for the shareholders.  The farmers took them at face value.  But they had been deceived, and now with plunging market values for milk all over the world, they are being made to pay back the shortfall to the co-op, to the tunes of millions of dollars each.  However the company made profits - and has paid the shareholders.  That leaves many farmers unable to continue, and they are walking off the land, and their prize dairy cattle are going cheap at the abattoirs.

How short-sighted?  With the herds of cows being reduced, over time there will be no more industry!  We will be importing our milk?!  This is just one industry where the oversight is either dodgy and corrupt, or imbecilically stupid!
