Alternative phone systems?

I am appealing for the expertise I know is out there. We live rural. Our cell calls are brought in by a cell extender. We are using Magic Jack also. I can call my daughter in Canada with that. But both systems have spells where the reception is bad. I do not understand. Four bars, and calls are cutting out. We want to invest in something that is better quality.

We are not wanting a land line yet. Though now it is possible. We actually have electricity wired to our home. As of May 31.

Any suggestions? I thank you!

This sounds interesting!  Thank you for posting.   Wondering, I have DSL verizon, can I have this with my current phone (its a landline), get this new item you post, and transmit it through my phone and still get DSL?

It's okay.  I sent a email to a brother and asked him if he has this system in his house and if so, how does it work for him and can he get Internet access?  So, I'll have to wait till he responds or his wife.

It does not use landline nor internet -according to link provided. Sounds like a G4 system ( cell type that can go through internet -wirelessly )
