  1. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jun/21/mosuls-grand-al-nouri-mosque-blown-up-by-isis-fighters This mosque was the place where Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi declared the caliphate years ago. It was always one of islam's most venerated sites. I can only imagine the shock that must have gone through the muslim community for this egoistic and desperate "scorched earth" type of act. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-39339373 An interesting little step towards the destruction of Babylon the Great? In any case, this will cause the river Euphrates to dry up a little more.
  2. Two separate suicide bombs in Coptic Orthodox churches in Alexandria and Tanta in Egypt. A state of Emergency will be declared. Nearly 50 killed and around 130 injured. Of course it was from ISIS, and aimed at the Palm Sunday services for maximum hit. http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2017/04/10/state-emergency-declared-egypt-after-deadly-palm-sunday-bombings?cx_cid=newsdaily-edm-2017 Egypt is under ban, is that right? Hoping our brothers and sisters there can still manage to hold their meetings with the state of emergency about to be declared.
  3. http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/03/politics/dc-transit-officer-charged-with-aiding-isis/index.html Funny, this guy has been on their "radar" since 2010 and they are just now doing something about it! It's not like he was hiding his support for ISIS and related things either. A police officer is going to have a bad enough time if they go to prison, let alone an officer who supported ISIS! Not sure if they guy is going to be safe anywhere!
  4. http://news.yahoo.com/italy-weigh-military-action-libya-diplomacy-fails-151857969.html Some quotes from the article, parts in bold done by me: "The Italian defense minister has said Rome could contribute 5,000 troops to such a military mission. But Premier Matteo Renzi sought to dispel the notion his country already decided on military operations if launched under the auspices of the United Nations. Renzi told the private TG5 TV news "the proposal is to wait, so the U.N. Security Council can work with a bit more conviction on Libya" diplomatically. U.N.-sponsored efforts must involve "all the players, the local tribes, African Union countries, Arab countries, the Europeans," Renzi said." hmmmm, seems like the WHOLE WORLD wants to get involved........
