This tragic attack on innocents simply shopping has really rocked me. I think cause shopping at a Westfield shopping centre is such a normal everyday outing here, I was at one a week ago with one of our daughters. We should feel safe there. Unfortunately in this system we aren't safe anywhere, that has become abundantly clear. What has really affected me with this event is the stabbing of the 9 month old baby in her pram. Her poor mother tried so hard to help her while she was dying herself. Thankfully the baby is recovering in hospital but to attack a baby is just the most depraved you can get and as a mother with a little one still in a pram myself this really hit home.

This is so awful. A 9 month old baby was stabbed multiple times in its pram. Who stabs an innocent baby in their pram?? The mother was stabbed as well and sadly passed away. Something as simple as going to a Westfield shopping centre to do some shopping on a Saturday afternoon and you never make it back home My daughter and I did this one week ago. Don’t feel safe anywhere.

It wasn't meant as negative in any way, not sure if that's the way you took it? I think the beards are great! But I think beards can make a big difference to way one looks 😀

I like beards, my husband has one ( he isn't a witness) but when he does come to meetings he's always self concious about it and felt bad so it's nice he won't have to worry. The funniest part is how different all the brothers look with beards, like I've known some of these men my whole life and never seen the vast majority of them with beards. I visited a different congregation this weekend, it was alot hairier that's for sure 🤣

Pants are overrated 🤣 I like skirts and dresses I find them much more comftable. I wouldn't feel dressed up in pants

This is so true and mentioned by a few in this thread. Everyone is really struggling. Each day is becoming a personal battle. Like u said iys one thing after another, and big things too. Satan is so angry and you can feel it. Jehovah won't let this system continue for one moment longer than it needs to. We must be so so close.

I've always felt like this, but of late I feel like relief will be my strongest feeling and I think many would agree. Well and truly done with this old system. 🙄

Found out via jw.org upon waking this morning. Absolutely heartbroken. My prayers will be with all my brothers and sisters affected by this awful tragedy. There's speculation as to whether one man was capable of carrying this out. I guess we will have to wait and see. 😞

Thank you I guess here I feel here is is being mandated of sorts - certain jobs require it and our government has really been pushing it to the point that have eased restrictions only for the vaccinated. Other parts of Australia have been in hard lockdown we have mostly avoided it all here. I want to make sure I’m doing it for the right reasons, of course worried about what effects it may have on me but I also have to show love for Jehovah & my neighbour in my decision. Thank you for easing my mind I will pray about it further

No I haven’t had covid

I’m finding the whole vaccine subject very conflicting. im in a part of Australia that has had very limited cases and am currently pregnant too so do not feel comfortable with the vaccine. The government here has used all sorts of coercion including free beer or winning money for those who have been fully vaccinated and the advice on vaccines has chopped and changed. It has all made me feel very uncomfortable. I personally know people who have ended up with severe adverse reactions to the vaccine and of course as Bro Lett mentioned there’s so much conflicting info that it’s hard to know what is truth. Earlier updates simply stated that each of us have to make our own choice, now I feel like we are one step away from being told we should get it and are in the wrong from a biblical standpoint if we do not. So now I feel as if I’m doing wrong in the governing body & Jehovahs eyes if I do not get vaccinated. Is this a fair conclusion to make?
