  1. I used my computer quite a - lot mainly for maintaining my database of cds. I have everything catalogued alphabetically and am working on a way of cataloguing classical music. Unfortunately Windows 10 has let me down. I have managed to salvage the majority of the data on several disparate disc drives. I have also been able to install Windows 7 on this machine - best Windows ever in my opinion . i was thinking of replacing the computer altogether - I don’t mind much what sort of replacement in the [ aversion naturally to Windows !!!] main as long as it it does its job., Apple intrigues me, dual boot more so. Some programs will not work on win7. .! Suggestions please.

  3. A drug baron's shipment of marijuana has been intercepted by border force drug control just before it reached the UK. The men on board swiftly dumped the sacks of marijuana into the sea before the border force could board the vessel. A spokesman for local ocean and wildlife expressed his concern for the effects of this marijuana floating in the sea. 'This incident has left no Tern unstoned' he said. It's important to have a good vocabulary. If I had known the difference between the words 'antidote' and 'anecdote,' one of my good friends would still be alive.
  4. I was looking after my girlfriends dog while she was away. Sadly it died so I got her an identical one. She went bonkers. What am I going to do with two dead dogs?

  7. I was moved to reach out to the elder who was our chairman last night at the midweek meeting. It was the second time in recent weeks that it has fallen to him to announce a disfellowshiping; the first a young man who was a close friend of this elder, and last night one of the elders! Such difficult assignments in a short space of time.

  14. Nothing personal, Richard. It stemmed from your completing my limerick. We had a lot of laughs. Hope you take in good part. 😃
  15. Tortuga whose name’s hard to rhyme with, considered himself as a wordsmith he completed the verse written by others at first but his talent proved to be only a myth. Tortuga whose name’s hard to rhyme over poetry took a long time. The verses he chose to complete showed he just couldn’t with them compete and the end result was a crime. To buy rand you must go for the Kruger For caviare it must be Beluga The acme of verse, if you wanted the worst Would have to be that by Tortuga. 😄 with best love and wishes!
  16. There was a young bard from Japan, Whose limericks never would scan, When told this was so, He replied “Yes, I know”, But I always make a rule of trying to get as many words into the last line as I possibly can.
  17. There was a young man from Peru Whose Limericks stopped at line 2
