These are the guidelines for NY. We’re staying home almost exclusively. My husband has an “essential” job so he is still working. His employer advised him to have his work badge on him when traveling to and from work in case things get more stringent.

Just got the news from my husband (an elder). They had a teleconference with the CO and all meetings, ministry and memorial are canceled until further notice.

It probably depends where you are. We’re not distributing invitations through letter writing either. The governor has reduced occupancy rates in half so if we’re able to have a memorial we’ll only have enough room for our congregation and maybe a few extras.

Watching the press conference now. The National Guard will be in New Rochelle (the biggest outbreak spot in the US) to assist with cleaning surfaces and distributing food.

I pray for you dear brothers and sisters. Critical times hard to deal with indeed! I’m glad the elders and the branch are taking it so seriously. We don’t have any confirmed cases up where we are (central NY) but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Stay safe everyone!

My brother was supposed to have friends from Walkill stay at his house this weekend but they had to cancel their visit because Bethel is on lockdown.

This is awesome! I’ve gone through the first 2 lessons. It’s so well done. Simple but very clear and effective with lots of pictures, videos and simple quizzes. Plenty of supplemental information too. -

I finished it too. Lots of drama and an exciting read! I can't wait to read the final installment. It's interesting to see this brother's ideas of how the GT will play out. I look forward to seeing how close this comes to reality.
