I am! I just finished a delicious butternut squash soup, cantaloupe, and yellow watermelon. Very delicious and oh boy very filling!

Can I have that butternut squash soup recipe. Just picked one up from the farmers market. Also an acorn squash, got any ideas for that one? Trying to incorporate more squash.

I love to make soup, but I have never made Butternut squash soup. When I get home from work on monday, that's exactly what I'll be making. That sounds just yumie.

Acorn is one of my favorite squash.  Simply cut in 1/2, remove seeds, turn upside down to bake, 350 about 30 - 60 minutes, depending on size, turn upright, add some butter, brown-sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.  Bake another 10 minutes.  Enjoy!  You also can eat with just butter and salt, or maple syrup, brushed on and heated for a few minutes.  Some micro-wave it too, I have not done that, so, couldn't tell you how long!

Oh the butter and salt and pepper sound perfect. I do use spaghetti squash often in place of pasta but want to explore other squashes. They grow well here. Have been hesitant because most people do use brown sugar, not my style, and it's what I associate with all squash, sweet potatoes as well. And it's ok about not using the microwave, I don't very often.

Thanks.

Grumpy and I love both squash and sweet potatoes and we only eat them with butter and salt and pepper. They are so yummie.
