New Bible Translation Required?

The High Court in Malaysia has ruled that the name Allah may only be used by Muslims in future.

 

It is the Malay word for God used in the Malay Bible - so the 'Christians' say they may need to translate the bible again!

If they would have left God's Name in the Bible, they would not have this problem.

“This Islamic deity called Allah is never found in the Hebrew text of the Bible. It is antithetical to the Biblical God, Jehovah-Elohim,” he said.

 

He added that the non-Arabic speaking Christian community did not translate the Hebrew word, Yahweh as Allah.

“It is translated as Yahweh or rabb,” he said, adding that only the Malay translation in 1912 and 1988 used Allah for Yahweh.

We LOVE it when people say the name of our God. Why are they having a fit over others actually 'showing respect' to their god by saying Allah?

 

You see how they are with their thinking? They are selfishly claiming that only they can worship their god. So their god must be selfish.

 

Our God wants everyone to worship him. He always welcomes anyone who wants to serve him to come to him and to call him by name. Our God Jehovah is so unselfish that he makes these people look ridiculous in their stinginess.
