Email from my husband today:

 

1.        Diva (4-year old German Shepherd) is on bed eating yak cheese.
2.        Suki (5 1/2-year old German Shepherd) rings bell to go outside.
3.        Diva and I go to door and open it.
4.        Suki trots back to bed, gets yak cheese, and takes it outside.
5.        Diva has a “what happened?!?” look.

Gotta love them!

Diva sounds like a winner - duh! Cats are smarter - I've seen cats open doors - by the doorknob/thumb latch.
