I don't know of any country where it is legal - without a prescription / as a drug. I imagine it would be treated as any other prescription drug.

 

As it is still illegal throughout the entire US (per Federal law - that State laws do NOT trump) and as I live in the US, I haven't heard of any changes.

Backers of the law, some smoking joints, gathered near Congress holding green balloons, Jamaican flags in homage to Bob Marley and a sign saying: "Cultivating freedom, Uruguay grows."
