Here are some interesting statistics for this annual sports event:

 

This Sunday marks the day on which Americans chow the second-greatest amount of food, behind only Thanksgiving!
 

* According to CNBC, 1.25 billion chicken wings will be consumed this weekend.
* Frozen Pizza is the top seller at grocery stores nationwide.
* There is a 36% increase in sales of frozen breaded mushrooms, 29% increase in sales of frozen shrimp & over $237 million spent on soft drinks.
* Finally, some stores claim to have a whopping 20% in sales of antacid the day after the game.

Crunchy cabbage salad with spicy peanut dressing, ummm has avocado!

Smoky sweet potato hummus with vegetables and sourdough crispy bread

And baked bbq chicken wings

 

So we'll be eating lots but not on really bad stuff that requires tums!

I imagine the beer sales are through the roof! How did they not include that data stoic? I also remember hearing that the Monday after Superbowl is the highest on record for sick calls to work. There was even talk about making that Monday a holiday because of the high amount of sick calls!

Well this year our meeting is 3:30. Wouldn't you know. Maybe I'll just be too sick to go. Just kidding

I would say the game isn't until 6:30 ..... but then, you are in So Cal ..... makes game time 3:30, your time

 

Not only is our meeting at 10:00 AM - I am in the same time zone as the game ..... only, I will have MUCH better weather where I will be sitting

I do not watch any sports so I have no favorites.  I find it alarming how many people get so hotly involved in sports and sports related conversations.  I just set back and watch the fireworks.

I'm really getting old! I had to look up slang to see how it applied! About 10 yes ago My son's friend told him that his mom was fat. I overheard him and told my son how rude his friend was. Travis assured me he meant Phat. I still don't know if I believe him...

are you talking about "DOUGH"....that is what homer simpson says (from the simpsons..not that I ever watch them) when he hears or sees something inappropriate or shocking, really, you need to hear him do that....its totally funny....LOL....I am a very hip and young 48 year old...I refuse to grow up.
