Sleep Window

Recommended Posts

I always knew this about myself - just never saw it or heard it spoken of.....

Today, I had to stay up to return a phone call before sleeping. Just before I could make the call, I was so sleepy, hardly keep my eyes open but now, wide awake!

This is from John Tesh:

Pay attention to your sleep window. That’s the 30 to 45 minute window when your eyes are getting heavy or you yawn frequently. That’s the time when you’re the most naturally ready to sleep. If you go to bed then, you’ll fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly. If you wait and miss that sleep opportunity, your nervous system kicks in and gets you going again. That’s according to sleep expert, Dr. Michael Breus. And if you get that second wind, you could be up for another 90 minutes. So go to bed during your natural sleep window.

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
