I have run across a book, by an author, named Shawn Peters. The title being "Judging Jehovah's Witnesses.

Have any of you seen or read it? Not going to spend cash on something I'll regret, but the reviews make it sound informative about Witnesses and court cases.

It is a good book sis. And it has some very history of JW's. Enjoy it and you will not regret it or buying it too.

Yes, I bought the book and I think all Witnesses should read it. When my parents came in the Truth was right at the time of WW2 and patriotic fervor was at its highest pitch. We lived in SD and that was a hotbed of mob action and persecution of the Witnesses. I know that many JW kids were kicked out of school and I myself was spanked every day for not saluting the flag. The main thing that you should take away from this book is the reason we have so many freedoms today in the US is because we as JWs fought tooth and nail to gain these freedoms. It even comes down to freedoms that we don't espouse i.e.. abortion. These freedoms even go as far as the right to refuse blood transfusions, etc. I feel it is a good book and I learned a lot.

Many thanx, folks. I didn't know the source of the reviews I read, and we all know how messed up some of those people who consider themselves to be "expert literary people", can be, don't we?
