How sad! So preventable. Our girls don't need a lot of grooming, but we also either take them to a small place where we can stay and chat with the groomer the whole time (relatives of a good friend), or nail trims at the daycare they go to once per week.

We just wash them ourselves and let them air dry .... or use a towel.

 

The Chihuahuas can be washed in the kitchen sink or in the shower when taking a shower.

 

The "in-between" sized dogs just get washed in the shower while one of the girls is taking a shower.

 

The Great Dane is washed outside with the hose.

 

We tend not to actually groom the pigs, goats, horse or chickens .... OH, and the cats are outside cats so they also take care of themselves.

The last time I gave my cat a bath i had a hard time getting the fur off my tongue.

Sure looks like he/she is having a great time.  It reminds me of when the kids were little and running through the garden hose...
