Take this video and apply it to how we teach people.

I found his statement that the truth we know may not be the truth tha there is. (Paraphrased) So isn't it any wonder why people have such a hard time to accept what the bible says is the truth? He didnt say he couldn't learn how to ride the wonky bike or that he couldn't change it back to a regular bike. It was just he had to teach his brain how to accept the input. He said he was 3 levels deeper into the mechanics of both bikes. How does that compare to the people we teach?

To ride that bike requires you to re-wire your brain to react in the opposite way that you learned in the first time you learned to ride.

If someone didn't know how to ride a bike and learned on this bike he wouldn't be able to ride a normal bike either.

It was hilarious to watch. I would love to try and ride that bike though.

I used to ride my bike no handed. If I tried it that way it would be easy.

I think it illustrates how people come to conclusions. They take former ideas and learning and try to fit it in. It it sounds good to them they like you, if it doesn't make sense, they don't like you.

Christendom has made everything "FIT IN" in a very convoluted way. When we try to teach the truth to someone there isn't anything to make it "fit in" to help them accept it. Their minds are blinded.

That's why we pray to Jehovah in the first place. Strange, it takes Holy Spirit and just a little curiosity on their part for the truth to start to settle in.
