This is a very sad tragedy happening in Tbilisi the capital.  Not only have raging floods killed 12 people and caused major damage to the homes and other structures, but the animals of the zoo have also been affected.  Lions, tigers, bears, crocs an other animals have escaped with their lives and are now roaming the streets of the capital.  A huge hippo was tranquilised after walking around the flooded streets.  The beloved white lion, a kind of drawcard and much loved attraction of the zoo was found shot dead - the zoo officials think that it was someone a little trigger happy.  But then, it is a lion. And a panicked one at that.

How sad for the humans and animals affected.
